What size order do you suggest I place? Should I start with the small one?
Solution If that's all you can afford, then our smallest order sizes will get you started, but frankly, I don't recommend that you do it that way if you can afford it.

You need to learn how to "warm up" a list, and the best way to do that is to buy a large list, split it into several smaller lists, and test various things with each of your several smaller lists. My most successful customers split-test *everything* ... subject lines, what time of day they mail, whether they put the link at the top or the bottom of the email, column width of their text, short versus long emails, how frequently to offer something for free, how early in the sequence to begin promoting inexpensive products, etc, etc, etc.

The bottom line is that email marketing is as much or more art than science, so it is in your best interest to test and tweak everything until you no longer see improvements in your results by changing things, and that requires a large number of sub-lists (i.e., one large list broken down into several smaller ones).
